The Red you see in Mt sliver in Gold/Silver/Heart gold/Soul silver is from Pokemon Yellow.

You know trainer Red?yeah,Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal/Heart gold/Soul Silver is part 2 to Pokemon Yellow from the gameboy.

Proof 1.Red owns a Veansaur,Blastoise and Charizard.

In Pokemon Red or Blue(Us Version),you as Red , only have 1 of all of these pre-evolutions.
Only Pokemon Yellow, you are able to have all 3 Pokemon. You can get Bulbasaur from a girl in Cerulean City if you and your Pikachu's relationship is high enough. You can get a Charmander from a Trainer in Route 24 in Pokemon Yellow and you can get a squirtle from Officer Jenny when you get a thunder badge.Hence,Red is able to get all these Pokemon in Generation 2.

Proof 2.Why doesn't Red evolve his Pikachu?

If Generation 2 takes place after Pokemon Red or Blue(Us version),why doesn't he want to level up his pikachu? In Red and Blue, you can have an option to evolve your Pikachu into Raichu easily after The 4th or 5th gym.Well, that is that Red doesn't want to evolve it or He cannot evolve it.In Pokemon Yellow, only way to get Pikachu is through Professor Oak.However, that Pikachu would refuse to evolve no matter how you want it to.

Red's Gold,Silver, crystal and Its remakes team.

Many of you would debunk this theory by saying Blue's team in Red and Blue is almost identical to his Gym Leader role team.

thing is,His Pokemon team in Generation 2 is different as the levels of his gym leader team is lower than his Champion Team in Generation 1.This shows that after the his defeat,he most likely released his pokemon by saying they aren't strong enough and catches a new set of Pokemon.

What do you think of this theory? You can leave your comments down below as to whether The events of Generation 2 takes place after Pokemon Yellow or it take place after Us Pokemon red and Blue?

  2. Nah, Yellow is considered non-canon by both GSC and HGSS. Literally everything in Kanto that was different between RGB and Yellow was reverted to its RGB state in GSC, including the house that has the girl who gave Red her Bulbasaur in Yellow. One of the most obvious ones is probably house in Cerulean that is inhabited by an old man who trades Pokémon and his wife in RGB, and they're still there in GSC and HGSS. In Yellow they're replaced with the girl who gives Red his Bulbasaur, and she's nowhere to be seen in later games. So HOW could Red have gotten his Bulbasaur from a girl who doesn't even exist in canon?

As for the thing about Blue's party being low level in GSC than RGB, levels don't mean squat for Pokémon canon. They're picked based on balance and difficulty alone. Lance and Bruno had lower levels in GSC too.
