Mario Theory:Super Mario 64 takes place in a dream

This is my first theory.There might be some flaws in this theory.Do you think Mario 64 takes place in a Dream?Leave your comments below!

Proof 1.To enter a level, you have to jump through a painting.

How is it possible to jump into a painting and to find a complete new world?Well,it could be imagination made by Mario while he was sleeping.Although Mario sleeps in any level...It is possible to sleep in your dream I guess...

Proof 2.Where are you and Bowser battling at in Super Mario 64?

Normally in the preivous instalments Mario would battle Bowser in his castle.But where are you battling Bowser in Super Mario 64?when you are battling Bowser,the background is dark and looks like a nightmare.Most likely,Mario is having a nightmare with bowser being the nightmare itself due to the many battles with bowser.

Proof 3.Peach appears out of nowhere at the end of Mario 64

At the end of the game,Princess Peach appears out of nowhere and to appear to congartulate you for restoring the stars to the castle.Normally,for other instalments(except Mario 64 DS) Princess Peach would appear in more logical areas.(Ex.Trapped at the end of Bowser's castle).anyways it is impossible just to appear out of nowhere unless it is a dream.

Proof 4.It seems Mario,Princess Peach and Bowser are the only main chracters in the game

I know many viewers would say about Yoshi,Luigi and Wario appear in the DS recon,however,You can only battle bowser as Mario in the final boss.so anyways,the Ds Recon also supports this theory as you can just change from Yoshi into Mario or Mario into Lugi in mere seconds inthe DS recon.It isn't possible to turn into another person into a person unless you cosplay.But you not only get the chracters looks,you also get the powers of the chracter.It is possible to try to transform into another person though in your dream as dreams can be bent and be inlogical.To the mainpoint,In the original mario 64,the only chracters would be Mario,peach and Bowser.Where is Yoshi?Yoshi was already introduced before mario 64 in super mario world.It would be more logical to intorduce Yoshi(Later introduced in Mario 64 DS).

Proof 5:How is Mario strong enough to throw Bowser in Mario 64?

Mario doesn't actually carry Bowser in the previous instalments until Mario 64.Even every Mario Game(except Ds Recon) afterwards never does that.Bowser is a heavy character.How is Mario strong enough to carry a heavy chracter and toss him like a frisbee?Unless mario dreamt that he is strong enough to toss Bowser like a frisbee.

I know the mario wiki says the following about proof 4:" Mario, as well as Luigi and Wario, enter the castle and chase Bowser. The trio are ambushed, however, and Bowser's minions lock them behind special doors. He then locks the castle entrance."But if they are unlocked by Yoshi,why does Yoshi switch places with Mario when the player chooses to play as Mario.Locking yourself up Yoshi?It makes no sense why would you lock yourself up in a room.So the only conclusion I made is that Yoshi transforms into another chracter when entering a room.
